General Tasting Impressions

A particularly well-executed Bordeaux wine lives on this Chateau Haut-Sarpe Saint Emilion Grand Cru.

All the weather we love in an excellent Bordeaux claret are right here. Fruit with exact fruity character is delivered with a relentless rigidity between the complicated savory spicy notes and the well-integrated oak.

This ripe 2015 classic, helped by the dominance of Merlot within the mix and the wine’s character  introduced an opulent and clean tannic texture, an upfront ripe purple berry fruitiness, and an irresistible salty caramel really feel.

Full Tasting Notes

This Saint-Emilion is available in a very darkish and intense ruby purple colour, practically again to the core and stuffed with darkish purple hues to the rim.

The nostril bursts in intense cherry liqueur aromas and ripe blackberry, with some recent jammy strawberry jam. It’s deep and generously fruity, on the very ripe aspect of the purple berry spectrum. This fruity generosity is complemented by a heap of caramel and chocolate notes making it odor tempting and candy. But, delicate wooden ashes, a touch of earthiness, and meaty pepperiness give a way savoriness to the fragrant profile.

Deep, layered and profound it actually smells, but powerfully and proudly fruity!

The palate follows go well with, that includes an completely clean texture on dense however silky/velvety tannins. The wine bursts in an explosion of warming and comforting darkish cherry flavors, espresso liqueur, French vanilla bean and blackberry jam.

It is a dry purple, considerably with a savory edge from so many pungent layers of grounded candy spice flavors. A strong acidity driving the recent fruit in the direction of a salivating barely salty end.

However on the palate as properly, the generosity of the wealthy fruity flavors offers and impression of fruity sweetness, that’s frankly irresistible given you want your purple berry fruit liqueur with a contact of vinosity.

Take pleasure in 🙂
