2015 Caractères André Lurton ‘Initiales’ Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux

Rating: 89/100

Tasting Notes

This Bordeaux crimson from the Haut-Medoc space is available in a reasonably darkish crimson colour for the model, trying comparatively dense and intense.

The nostril is pungently fruity and options highly effective vanilla aromas. Darkish cherry, blackberry and recent raspberry notes present a vigorous fruity really feel to the fragrant profile, whereas hints of toast, caramel and the vanilla add generosity and enchantment. Spicy white pepper and chili are clearly to be smelt too.

The palate is comfortable and reasonably oily at first, fairly clean, though grippy and edgy tannins kick in from the mid-palate on and grip your style buds o the end, considerably in a typical Bordeaux wine trend. Strong salivating acidity nicely balanced by a round-enough physique.

Once more, flavors are beneficiant, fruity and wealthy from ripe berry characters mixed with spherical oaky notes.

Total

A well-made, ripe, generously fruity and spicy Bordeaux wine, approachable in model, but delivering layers of sentimental roundness and a lovely spiciness.

Take pleasure in 🙂
