The ingredients and procedures in preparing the Frozen Strawberry Margarita style drink follow below. It is a frozen cocktail which is blended with the frozen strawberries. The strawberries used should be at their prime season for the drink to taste its best.

• 1 1/2 ounces Tequilla • 1 ounce triple sec• 1 ounce lime juice• 1/2 c. strawberries• 1 c. ice• fresh strawberries for garnish

When preparing the Frozen Strawberry Margarita drink, make sure the blender is strong enough to hold the ice and can grind properly. Wash and trim the strawberries first, make sure they’re totally free from specks of leaves or dust or any spots that can bring damage to the drink.

Fill the blender with ice about half the container and then grind. It is very important to grind the ice first before putting in the other ingredients. After doing so, add the Tequila, the triple sec and the lime into the blender.

Then, fill the blender with strawberries till it’s filled to its rim. Once done, cover the blender carefully.

Start the blending by “pulsing” the blender for short bursts. This helps in breaking the ice into finer shaves without jamming the blender.

In case, the blender does get jammed just shake it to free the cubes that got stuck on the blades. If this still doesn’t work, use a long wooden spoon that will free the area that is situated around the blades.

Continue the “pulsing” routine and when done run the blender continuously until all the ingredients have formed a slushy mixture. Pour the mixture into serving glasses.

The glasses must be garnished with a slice of lime. For best results, serve the Frozen Strawberry Margarita while still fresh from blending.
