1 lb small mushrooms

1 tbsp chili sauce

Chop the stems and simmer in 2 cps boiling water for 10 minutes.Drain off liquid then combine with seasonings and lemon juice and cook 5 minutes longer.Slice the raw mushroom caps and add with the celery and olives to the prepared sauce.Chill and serve in cocktail glasses. Pass pretzel sticks.

Sauerkraut and Clam Juice Cocktail

1 cp sauerkraut juice

1 cp clam juice

1/2 tsp grated horseradish

few grains of salt

Combine the ingredients. Chill and pour over shaved ice in small cocktail glasses. Accompany with crisp saltines.
